News
Wednesday, 22 August 2007
Self promoting Otaku rapper, MAJA, to perform live at Anime Vegas Convention 2007 and appearing at Otaku University Anime Conference in Mesa, Arizona (Sept. 30, 2007).

MAJA, up and coming hip hop rapper with a new school sound, is rapping about anime, videogames and japanese culture. Coming onto the scene only a few months ago, the independent recording artist is making himself known without the help of a record label.  Mainly self promoting via the internet on myspace.com, youtube.com and performing at conventions dedicated to anime, the rapper is building a unique fanbase of anime fans and gamers.  MAJA recently found a following in Japan when Japanese blogs started posting his youtube video performing ANIME MIRU TOKI,  a song that advocates watching anime in  Japanese subtitles.  With the release of his new cd, MAJA is scheduled to perform live with DJ Jinnai at the Anime Vegas Convention 2007 Dance and appearing at Otaku University Anime Conference in Mesa, Arizona (Sept. 30, 2007).

The much anticipated MAJA album finally released this month for fans of Anime, Videogames and Japanese Pop Culture. His new cd can be purchased through www.newschoolhiphop.com or a direct link to http://tinyurl.com/3bdxay to get your copy.
