An eight star Celestial, Ueki is geared up to hit the next level and get nine stars. Tenko is all for it too. The catch? The big yellow fuzzy guy will die if Ueki gets there! It’s a big tug on the wee heart strings this round of Ueki!
This show is too fun. We’re already getting into the thirty-something episodes and this story is no where close to slowing down. I had a girly moment in the first ep on this volume when we see Tenko all small and fuzzy in his days of youth playing with the Celestial kiddies. I got all “awwww” over the fuzzy guy. Then harshness of harshness, he’s put into a jail when he got all big and was alone in prison for tens of thousands of years. But now that he has a friend in Ueki, he wants to give his all to help his best bud get to the next Celestial level for the fights to come. And when I say willing to give it all, Tenko means it, literally! Is this the end of our favorite yellow fuzz butt? The next three episodes are about the Third Round (note the capital letters, this is serious for Ueki!) in the battles for the Celestial King. What happened to Round Two? Hah, wait til you find out. They mess with your head a little on that one. Coolness lies ahead as Team Ueki gets to duke out Round Three in the Celestial World! That’s right, Ueki and his fans get a chance to check out the world their fighting to make Mr. K a king of. First up, the team has to beat Team Grano on the Celestial Sleeping Fruits Island. They’re a tough team. And the powers are getting even zanier. We have one wee dude who can make models out of photos, another who makes the models come to life, and so on. It’s not all flashy moves and whacky powers. Ueki has to use his head too. It’s brain and brawn. And the coolest thing about Ueki is it’s his own natural ‘power’ of friendship that really saves the day in the end every time. It’s all about being a righteous dude to be cool and be the real winner. And with it being a team effort, Ueki’s friends pull it together for their righteous cause and making sure freaky guys like Hanon (yep, he’s still hanging around) don’t get the prize and put evil on that Celestial throne. It’s all about the power of friendship in The Law of Ueki! It’s the Third Round and battling in the Celestial World in the latest eps of this anime. It’s fun, fun, fun!
