Yuuhi is a straightforward country boy. There’s romance brewing with several of the cast, including a surprising pairing between Yuuhi and one of the last people you would expect. Yuuhi is not the typical yaoi main character. He seems like the regular country boy you might read in any manga series. Then there’s the soap opera and suspense of what the villainous student council is up to. The storytelling takes surprising turns, humanizing those characters that at first appear to be the most irreprehensible of villains. There are harsh moments though, and some true villains do appear in this book. The account of these diverse young men hold fun, cruelty, lessons in morality, and surprisingly tender romantic moments. It’s not all fun and games, nor is it your average yaoi. Can’t Win With You has a unique charm and depth all its own. One that is marked by the beautifully clean and expressive art of Yukine Honami (Rin,! Desire, and Sweet Revolution). IN SUMMARY:
