The climatic final volume sees Haruka in the clutches of Noein, with Karasu and Yu desperate to save her, and the converging of the dimensions at hand. Oblivion awaits unless Haruka and the others can unravel the mystery behind Noein. The fate of not only the world, not only the universe, but that of all dimensions, rests in the small and slender hands of one courageous girl.

The conclusion of this mesmerizing series is dense with science and danger, philosophy and impending oblivion. It’s not just the main characters who put everything on the line to save their existence. Haruka and Yu’s friends also strive to find a way to help each in their own way. Uchida and her allies fight to stop the Magic Circle Project that will bring about the oblivion Noein hungers for. There are battles on several fronts. Some are more physical, like that of Atori who battles Noein’s machines as they try to enter this Haruka’s Earth. Some struggles are far more cerebral and soul searching such as Haruka’s. Noein shows her the futures of her friends, the endless cycle of suffering and sorrow that await them all. Haruka will have to face her worst fears to battle to save her sanity and her soul. Meanwhile Yu must face the nightmare that created his alternate self. Both Haruka and Yu are key to what will tip the scales. Will they choose to erase the world and all life in all universes in order to end their pain? Or will they choose something beyond touch, beyond mere reason…hope for infinite possibilities, in other words, the future?

These episodes have it all, the revelations and the answers to all the questions such as who is Noein, what happened to make Karasu, Shangri-la and L’acryma. It will also have definite conclusive outcomes for many of the characters. This is a densely packed final volume that will thrill Noein fans. The quantum physics, science fiction, and existential challenges the story presents are the stuff hard core sci-fi fans can truly delight in and sink their teeth into. This has been a series that has been absorbing throughout. And the ending will leave fans breathless.
