FUNimation Enetrainment will exclusively screen never-before-seen episodes of the irreverant animated series at Comic Con International 2007 today at 10:30 AM. The screening will conclude with a Q&A panel with the writing team.
Thousands of pop culture fans converging upon San Diego Comic-Con International 2007 will be the first to see a new episode of the undiluted comedy series Shin chan. This special screening, shown only at Anime Expo earlier this summer, is a sneak peek of a new episode of the over-the-top series from Japan’s TV Asahi and airing in the U.S. on [adult swim]. Directed in the U.S. by Zach Bolton (Desert Punk, One Piece) and featuring a writing team led by Jared Hedges (Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball Z), Shin chan is the story of an attention-seeking five year old named Shin Nohara who is blatantly honest, whose hero is Action Bastard and who likes to drop his pants quite a lot. It’s unwholesome family fun!
