While Kaito regains his lost memories, it spells happy times for Luna. But Michal is heartbroken and her despair grows with every breath. Each of the mermaids face trials, and some triumphs, in love this volume as Hanon and Nagisa share a telling moment while Rina and Hamasaki struggle in their relationship. None struggle more than Michal and Rihito. He suffers seeing his sister so pained. The true test of his love will come when Michel strikes out at the mermaids and uses Michal’s broken heart to do it! For a penultimate volume, this one has it all. There’s the climatic battle between Michel and the mermaid princesses, it all comes to a head in these chapters and even offers a decisive conclusion. There are love confessions all around nearly. With the danger and romance, it was a full read. This set of chapters tie up almost all the loose threads, including the final fate of Seira and her fractured heart pieces, as well as what happens to Michal and Rihito. It will be interesting to see what the final volume brings considering how much was accomplished in this volume.
