BRITTNEY KARBOWSKIBrittney Karbowski, a young and very talented voice actor answered some questions from us about her sudden rise in the voice acting industry. Brittney played Fuko in Gilgamesh, Mone in Yumeria, and Nahl in Madlax.

 

 

 

 



Hello Brittney and thank you for allowing us to give you this interview. First off, tell us a little about yourself? 




 
How long have you been doing stage acting, and what made you decide to become a stage actor?




Do you plan on becoming more than a stage actor, a movie actor perhaps?



  
 
I heard that you had a rather unique way of getting into the anime industry, and that you were actually discovered. Could you elaborate on that?



  

Did becoming a voice actor made you change your goals somehow?



  

Since becoming a voice actor, have you continued with your stage-acting career?



  

Where you a fan of the genre even before you landed in the industry?



  

What was your first anime role and how long did it take you to get a lead role?



  

You've played Fuko in the dark science fiction series Gilgamesh. How did you prepare for your role in series?



  

What did you think about the sexual innuendos in Gilgamesh, and where you surprise that an animation could actually have that sort of element?





In Yumeria, your entire dialog is "mone" or "mone mone", was it hard for you to say the same lines repeatedly?



 

Your character Nahl in Madlax seems to be stoic, and whose facial expression hardly changes, is it difficult to voice that role?



 

You sang a few lines in Gilgamesh, and you have a wonderful voice, have you though about becoming a singer as well?



 

Is there any part of voice acting that you find difficult and exciting?



 

Do you have any roles that you are working on that we should look for in the near future?



 

Being a young and talented voice actor, what is the best advice you've receive from your peers?



 

How do you feel about landing a myriad of lead and supporting characters in your young voice-acting career?



 

How long do you see yourself doing voice acting?
