The frolicking adventures in this wildly popular harem comedy continue in the latest volume of Girls Bravo. First, the girls decide to have a ‘girls only’ New Year’s bash. When someone mixes up the juice with something else, it’s more like ‘girls gone wild’. Next, the king of perverts, Fukuyama, may have a clone running around. Kirie and the other girls all had their hands full with just one Fukuyama. What will they do if there are two? Then Koyomi may have overcome her boy phobia when she has a crush on a very handsome guy. But this guy has a secret that will shake things up something fierce.
The hijinks don’t stop there. When Fukuyama tricks the girls into some special training, they have to undergo a series of humiliations when each time they do something against the rules, a piece of their clothing disappears! After, Tomoka decides to go to school, but she has an ulterior motive. Finally, one day when the girls fall asleep, they can’t wake up and Yukinari panics. He ends up having to go to occult expert and practicing witch Risa for help. All the latest chapters in this volume are short, sassy and sexy. There’s a lot of fan service and even more laughs to be had. They still managed to tug on a few heart stings when Tomoka goes to school. Even though she had a hidden agenda, she seems to like the school atmosphere and the chance to act like her age, which is that of a child. Girls Bravo is an all around romp. It’s one of those manga that you can pick up and read each self-contained short story without having to worry about crazy cliffhangers or heavy angst. It’s a sweet, fun and often racy diversion.
