GDH K.K. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shinichiro Ishikawa, Securities Code: TSE Mothers 3755, hereafter GDH) and So-net Entertainment Corporation (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President: Kenichiro Yoshida, hereafter So-net) will launch their first collaborative project "SAMURAI 7 x PostPet" between GONZO's TV animation series SAMURAI 7(*1) and So-net's e-mail service character brand PostPet(*2), starting July 2, 2007.
From July 2 to September 30, various services will be rolled out such as distribution of exclusive merchandise featuring joint designs of SAMURAI 7 and PostPet, joint efforts in CGM related services, a special table talk between GONZO Director Showji Murahama and media artist and developer of PostPet Kazuhiko Hachiya, giveaways of gifts featuring popular characters, etc. This enterprise is the first service collaboration between GDH and So-net pertaining to the capital partnership agreed in February 2007 for working closely together in the continuously growing animation market. Popularity poll on SAMURAI 7 characters will be conducted. The character winning the poll will be designed as an exclusive stuffed toy in collaboration with PostPet character Momo, and presented to one winner chosen by lot.
