This epic saga reaches apocalyptic proportions in this final mesmerizing volume of Angel Sanctuary. It all comes to a head at the Tower of Etenamenki, where rests the throne of God. Rosiel, Lucifer, and the forces of Heaven and Hell converge. Within this tower, Setsuna will learn the true identity of Adam, the secret to Lucifer, and the plans of a god gone mad. Unbeknownst to those in the tower, the Angel of Destruction, Sandalphon, has taken over Sara to bring about the end of everything.

Angel Sanctuary is a complex epic unlike any manga series. Its tremendous esoteric bent, the heavy crossover of religions combined with social issues and personal lines of integrity have been spellbinding. Kaori Yuki has created an incredible universe that explores not only the extent of good and evil, the nature of humanity, and the essence of one’s soul, it also looks beyond those things. It explores beyond good and evil to find the extent of unconditional love, such as that shared by Setsuna and Sara. The saga explored from the very beginning the soul’s need for love, acceptance, and the desire for survival.

Filled with absorbing art work, more detailed than most, beautifully Gothic even when depicting the most foul horrors, it has been mesmerizing to watch, to read, to take this journey along with the characters into the incredible universe of Angel Sanctuary. The end is one that defines people as the characters’ choices can save or destroy entire worlds.

IN SUMMARY:
This incredible esoteric epic of Heaven, Hell and everything in between finally comes to an incredible, provocative, and awe inspiring conclusion.
