Hikaru Utada's Beautiful World is the theme song for the first Evangelion movie, Neon Genesis Evangelion Theatrical Version: Preface, which will be released in theaters in September 2007 in Japan. Also, we have confirmed that her rendition of Fly Me to the Moon (In Other Words) is only used in the movie trailer of the movie (See previous article). Both songs are included in Hikaru Utada's latest album, Beautiful World/Kiss& Cry. |

EMI Music Japan has begun distributing on its website the song Fly Me to the Moon (In Other Words)- 2007 MIX, sung by Hikaru Utada, which is the trailer theme song for the new anime movie Neon Genesis Evangelion Theatrical Version: Preface. The same song is being included on Hikaru Utada's latest single Beautiful World/Kiss& Cry, which is scheduled for release on 8/29/2007. No indication if the song will be used in the actual movie. Production I.G website opened its Ghost Hound page. The page stated that WOWOW will broadcast all 22 episodes of this new anime in High-Definition with surround sound 5.1 channel in the fall. In addition, Ghost Hound's official website, which officially opened last week, includes a stunning 1 min and 45 sec, 640 x 480 trailer. |
