Once it was established Koushaku Chouno is the Papillon Mask homunculus, Kazuki has to cope with a race against time too find the cure for Tokiko's being infected by the homunculus.

Koushaku has evolved from being a school boy to the Papillon, a superhuman with a flair for the exotic and eccentric who has also developed an admiration for Kazuki that has not gone unnoticed by his great, great grandfather, Bakashaku Chouno. He brings him back to life along with his league of extraordinary elect who plan to take over the world.

Impressed with Kazuki's performance against his string of enemies, Captain Bravo shows himself and promotes Kazuki to fully-fledged Alchemy warrior. When Bakashaka sends out his own warriors to find out about the other warrior who went to the same Academy as Koushaku, as he will not reveal Kazuki's name otherwise.
Koushaku realises before he became Papillon he was being watched closely by someone sinister and with great skill at not being truly noticed by others in the same vicinity.

Now into the third volume the story is still interesting and runs along at a fun action filled speed folks will be able to easily handle.

It is interesting to note how interested the Japanese are in alchemy and the idea of shape-changing creatures and this will be a great flashback to other manga of this same genre that will captivate the readers even more so this time around.

Even those who are not familiar with those manga will enjoy this third volume.
The characters are intriguing and many with their own past, and the two who are shown, Kazuki and Tokiko are a wonderful couple of companions who take on anything and everything in their wake.

IN SUMMARY:
Brilliant entertainment, fun and interesting.
