Allen Walker has now been accepted fully into the Black Order by Komui Lee, but with the invitation comes the responsibility as Allen and the band of exorcists have to prevent the prophecy of the cube of the end of the world, as Millenium Earl and his Akuma are set to make the prophecy come true in spite of their efforts.

Allen and Kanda who have already got off to a bad start have been sent to Southern Italy on a mission to find an Innocence before it is taken by an Akuma. This Innocence is used by the exorcist to create weapons to destroy the Akuma.
Armed with Timcampy, a flying creature, who has an inbuilt video memory feature that looks into a person's past, Allen and Kanda catch a train to find the Innocence. Once found, they also stumble upon their own Akuma, Allen's Akuma - though has evolved and is more dangerous to fight.

In volume two of this fun and interesting manga, Allen gets to meet many people, fellow exorcists, chef Jerry who takes an instant liking to him, Yu Kanda who has a fierce deep and unemotional personality who does not like Allen as he views him as a risk-taker, Reever Wenham resident physician and is unhappy with his position at the Black Order, Komui Lee mad scientist and Lenalee Lee make up a wonderfully entertaining team of characters.

The artwork is as good as the previous volume and captures the characters in their quirky look throughout the series. This is an enjoyable read, and shows how something original like this manga  can be seen as strange as well as fun.

This is a good continuation of the first volume where Allen is now a part of the team and will go on battling villains fuelled with danger and also things that will become curious to him along the way. The story has a great sense of the theatrical, some parts are horrific and quite shocking, yet it is a compelling read.

IN SUMMARY:
Follow the voyages of the Akuma-Busters - this is a definate must read!
