Back in New York, Eiri Yuki and Suichi Shindou embark on a visit to the grave of Eiri's former lover, Yuki Kitazawa, though, as is normal for the duo nothing ever goes to plan.

No sooner are they off the plane, than the two are bombarded with the attention of Yoshiki, Yuki Kitazawa's brother who is soon to be a woman after his sex change operation. He becomes a constant source of irritation to them both as they get into the awaiting taxi and discover something else in there with them from Eiri Yuki's past.

The readers who have followed the story from the original volumes will enjoy this new series with its shocking storyline and elements of amazement. In this volume there is the usual amount of crazy humour, mock arguments and new, even madder characters for readers to love.

Eiri Yuki gives readers another glimpse of his more sensitive side, though it is not some aspect of his personality he wants others to notice, not even his lover Suichi, who in this is more of an observer than a true participant. He watches what happens to him as a result of Eiri's actions.

Maki has really pulled a wonderful script from her mind and made it work within all these pages of comic-filled capers. The reader will not realise how two people can cause so much chaos in one volume, but there it is amusingly so.

The artwork as is normal for this manga artist is very brilliantly drawn, and has a life of its own as the reader will see it on the pages of this particular novel.

Many will look forward to this extension of the Gravitation novels, as they have proved popular with readers for a good while now. This is largely due to the characters of Suichi and Eiri, as they both act as differently as chalk and cheese. Suichi with his romantic attitude and love of poetry versus Eiri and his reluctance to show affection toward his lover make for an interesting and chaotic couple people will always adore.

Yoshishi as the annoying brother will give readers enough chuckles, while the rest of the characters will give the desired effect in other ways.

IN SUMMARY:
Maki is at her best here with this first volume in a sensational and raucous new series.
