Rock and Revy wonder around a long deserted U-Boat from the Second World War. Searching, they find nothing but bones and objects, and all Revy is interested in is the Captain's Iron Cross medal which could be sold for a pretty penny. Rock finds a painting underneath the body of the Captain, and discovers that is what they were looking for all along, though Remy wants more they can sell for a nice tidy profit, yet Rock still does not like what he is getting into. Revy has looked around and found lots of loot, valuable medals and gold they can use but Rock considers what she has done as grave robbing. It is then she sits him down and tells him about her early life as a Chinese girl in the ghetto, surviving on nothing and being beat up by local cops. Not that she is wanting pity though. She reminds him next time he wants to lecture her, she will be ready to put a bullet in his head. Black Lagoon's second helping of guns and action gets the four of them into a heap load of trouble. Dutch and Benny are on ship keeping watch while Revy and Rock try to bring back the painting among other things, yet the Neo Nazis on board ship they try to steal from thwart their plans making Revy madder than ever as she goes on a shooting spree where anyone who gets in her way becomes a viable target for her wrath. Rock still feels like the outsider even though he is now a part of the team. He shows the solitary, unhappy outlook in this anime, as he is just a watcher along with Benny who confesses to him he keeps an eye on the others as he cannot shoot to kill as they can, so Rock finds a friend who understands him more than he understands himself in this volume.
The team are now on the brink of finding out how deadly their opponents can be, and how fierce a woman Revy can be in return – she in this volume is the one who has the most guts, and knows how to face adversity wherever it comes out to strike them. The painting however, becomes more than what they thought originally. Viewers will be surprised at the twists in this story as they watch.

The violence is unstoppable - it's all guns, action and more guns! Superb.
