At the Imure Bridge one of the Iga ten reveals that Tenzen cannot be wounded by a mortal as he is an immortal ninja. There are only two ways of killing him and one of them is to decapitate his head from his body. It is Akeginu who spoke of it originally and now only time will tell before the plotting comes full circle. Waiting to see if it is a trick, the ninjas wound the man who calls himself Tenzen, and they find out one major truth.
Kagome attends to Gennosuke and tells him Oboro of the Iga is dead, she is lying of course, and goes to ask him if she can stay by his side after the war between the Iga and the Koga is over, but he refuses her advances. Kagome, frustrated at being rejected, vows to kill Oboro soon. Kagero is held responsible for her actions against a certain person, and as she is not in possession of the ninja scroll, Oboro is ordered to kill her. Oboro refuses and says she can be of greater use to them alive as she knows Gennosuke will be looking for her, and they will have their chance to claim the ninja scroll and their Iga victory, proving once again that Oboro is not the fool she might appear in front of the others. Angry at Oboro for shaming their people by introducing the two warring clans, and bringing them together Kagome decides upon her veangance instead, her vision clear, she wants to kill Oboro for all she has done. Deception, treachery and intrigue are the ingredients for this sixth and final volume, and the intention is there to bring a certain closure to the whole saga, but not without a few twists and turns along the way. A battle between two warriors will set the scene for a turning point in the long running feud where the instigator will be found out, and the consequences revealled. EXTRAS:
