It is 2100 AD on the Moon and Kurau is a birthday girl and invited to visit her father's laboratory where he works then they are off to the mall to shop for her present. But Kurau never gets to the mall when her father's experiment goes terribly awry and a Rynax, a binary alien form is fused with Kurau to become two forms living in one body. Her father, though distraught finds they can both co-exist in the one body, both Kurau or Rynax at any time.

She shows amazing abilities as they do tests on her, and her father finds it difficult coming to terms that it is his daughter. All he wants is his daughter back. Rynax speaking inside Kurau's body says she cannot leave its host as she does not know how to, and she could not risk losing herself as Rynax exist in pairs and nothing more.

Her father really wants Rynax to leave her body, and she says that if she could leave then she would find a way for Rynax to exist elsewhere, but Rynax has to help him. They both agree, and continue their tests on Kurau with the simbiote inside her who through Kurau performs amazing feats making her abilities superhuman. Her father is confused as Rynax switches from being her to Kurau his daughter. Once he finally realises his daughter is in that body along with Rynax, he understands he has not lost her at all.

Ten years later, Kurau recieves a call telling her there is a job for her at System Square who are a parts manufacturer and found that top secret date has gone missing, and was stolen for a rival firm. They need Kurau to retrieve the date on it as it is a locked chip, and could be cracked at any time. Kurau agrees, and goes to work along with Mike, who attends her missions as if to keep an eye on her.

Kurau in this anime is the straight - talking, no nonsense agent while Mike is the comic relief as a sidekick. Everyone who works with her sees her as destructive and reckless, but she learned way back when she was younger that she could not risk her own body using the Rynax inside her. The Rynax, though is still feeling alone and desperately strives to be reunited with her twin as it still grows within Kurau. Kurau soon learns that she is no longer alone as she has to share her time in her apartment with someone else. Someone very familiar.

There is a concept of humanity in this series that is captured extremely well in the first few episodes. Society is perfected, poverty and war are virtually non existent due to the system put in place in the future. Humanities problems are solved and people who are living in that society are better off as life is made much easier in that particular future.

When Kurau was accidentally involved with the laboratory experiment, Kurau became fused with a Rynax which is found in the space within an atom, and it can decompose what it comes into contact with. When human beings are twinned with Rynax they become Rynax Sapiens as a result.

The viewer will find this futuristic story highly interesting and thought-provoking as it centres not just on Kurau, but on Moon City which was built by 2100 AD, and the people plan on visiting other planets from that part of the solar system.

Many laboratories have been erected and still prove amazing in their resourcefulness. Kurau's status later as an agent is of interest itself to the viewer as she handles cases the Police cannot solve, and is a well-rewarded in monetary form in return.

For those who watch this first episode, they will be confronted by many aspects of the newly created Moon City, which is very well rendered.
