When Urd has unleashed her powers to become the Lord of Terror, it is up to Lind who has been sent from heaven to destroy the Lord of Terror before the entire universe is to be overrun by demons. Belldandy in turn breaks her power seal with incantations, and brings into her her own power, which she wants to use to help save Keiichi from her big sister's evil power. There is still a block on Belldandy's power, yet if Urd tries to use any of her own power Belldandy will feel a gravitational pull, which will be unmistakeable.

Urd, now taken over by the demon, has Keiichi bound in her room while she scolds a servant for bringing him to her. He realises she is not herself and finds it impossible to communicate with her. Urd wants to know about the Ultimate Destruction Programme, but Keiichi has no idea what she is talking about, even going so far as to read her mind to find it out, using most of her power doing it. Using the urn instead, she is told all she needs to know.
Keiichi now deeply distressed wonders what she intends to do. Can Belldandy come to him in time to release his bonds and destroy Urd's evil powers, or will the world resign to its fate.

As this is the last in the series, Keiichi and Belldandy both have the chance to bond even though there is the prospect the world would end in peril. And as Belldandy is so optimistic, she will stop at nothing to help out Keiichi and her rogue sister to see the error of her ways.

In this volume there is much of the humour and fun fans of Ah! My Goddess TV are used to, along with interesting new scenarios for the three goddesses and Keiichi to be placed in. There has been a build up in the last two volumes gearing toward the sixth volume ending for the first season and the viewer will feel it has done the whole series justice with the serious overtones of the final story.

The animation stunning and the action in it effective and will give cause for the viewer to laugh out loud at the menace Urd causes as The Lord of Terror.

The humour is still the main element, which works brilliantly within this anime even though it is the end of the first season, and it is coming to a possible climactic finale. This sixth volume is a perfect and fitting end for the viewer who has hungered to see it for so long.
