Director Makoto Shinkai's films Byosoku 5 Centimeter (5 Centimeters Per Second - 2007) and Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho (Place Promised in Our Early Days - 2004) are to be released on Blu Ray and HD DVD on April 18. Both films were made in HD resolution, and now you will be able to see even more beauty and detail than ever before. These new releases will also take advantage of the next-generation disc format to include high-quality sound.
